The 11th Shanghai International Nature Conservation Week is currently taking place in Shanghai, featuring five City Walk nature and science routes. These aren’t just ordinary walks through the city, but innovative practices that integrate technology with ecological conservation.

At the corner of Yangshupu Road, the towering chimney of a power plant stands silently, a testament to the past industrial giant now witnessing ecological restoration. From an “industrial rust belt” to a “living showcase”， this route allows you to experience the perfect fusion of industrial heritage and natural ecology.
沿途经过杨树浦纱厂大班住宅、杨树浦电厂遗迹公园等景点，你会发现曾经的输煤廊道旁绿树成荫，老厂房屋顶铺满光伏板，工业文明与生态文明在此和谐共存。
Along the way, you’ll pass landmarks like the Yangshupu Textile Factory’s staff housing and the Yangshupu Power Plant Ruins Park. You’ll notice how the once coal conveyor walkways are now shaded by trees, and how the old factory rooftops are covered with solar panels.
